After the success of the first Golf Beer Cup back in September 2025. We’re doing it again, this time it’s bigger, better and a FULL 18 HOLES!

Teams of 4 will battle it out at the Point Polzeath in a Texas scramble over 18 holes to become the 2nd annual Golf beer cup champions! Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd plus longest drive and closest to the pin.

Bluntrock's Golf Beer is back with a fresh new beer, available in cans for the round, as well mid course bar!

Prizes to be given out at our post-round afterparty at the Bluntrock Container Taproom starting at 7pm; including live music from Joe “The Hurricane” Wilton and ex Dirty Bomb Star; Henry Collins.

There will also be smash burgers from Fat Pepper, and Wii Golf for those who are brave enough.

Part of your entry will also go to supporting Polzeath Surf Life Saving Club.

THE FORMAT: Team Scramble.

What is a scramble?

In a nutshell, 4 players, 4 shots, the best one is the score.

Each player tee’s off. Players place their golf balls where the chosen tee shot ended up, and from there they all play the second shot.

This process is repeated until the ball is holed. Each team returns one score for each hole and the team with the lowest score for the round wins. 

RULES:

• Putts must be marked on the green and taken from the same point, no closer to the hole
• All other shots 1 club length from the spot of the best shot no closure to the hole 

HANDICAPS:

• Your scramble handicap will be calculated at sign in combining your teams playing handicaps (if you don’t have one give us your best guess no higher than 28) 
• 100% allowance on your calculated handicap

SCORE RECORDING:

Scores will be recorded on the “Golf Game Book” app for your team
