We recently got together with the wonderful 'Tap Social Movement' to brew an Italian Pilsner - a classic lager recipe, with a modern twist - a modest dry hop which lends the beer more hoppy character, whilst retaining the crisp, clean characteristics you’d want in a lager. It requires a careful balancing act, and one we are really happy with the results of - we’ve featured Lubelski - a lesser known, Polish hop variety, which brings subtle flavours of bergamot, lemon and a gentle spiciness.
The result is a refreshing beer with a touch more complexity than you might expect in a lager. It’s perfect for the summer, and the can design and artwork summons up the relaxed drinking experience the style demands.
