Golf Beer is the ultimate session beer for a day on the Golf Course, brewed for the first annual Golf Beer Cup. It’s a delightful 4% Pale Ale showcasing the one and only Chinook, George’s favourite hop, for a punchy aroma profile of zingy grapefruit, fresh lemons and a hint of pine.
100% of the malt used in the recipe has been supplied from Warminster Maltings, a traditional floor maltings based in Wiltshire, specifically Maris Otter and a touch of Light Crystal and Dextrin. This gives the beer a touch of golden colour and soft caramel biscuit flavours.
The beer has been designed and led as a cask beer, fermented warm at 21C with our house yeast in one of our traditional square fermenters. The square shape allows the yeast to gently settle without large increases of hydrostatic pressure, meaning happier yeast inside the casks. Luckily for you all, we chose to put some of the batch into cans too... enjoy!
