Tweak of the Thumb… 51!
The final bingo beer of the series. Brewed with Elusive Brewery (Wokingham) who are inspired by early 2, 4 & 8-BIT video games and are often hailed as the brewery making THE BEST west coast pales and IPA’s in the UK.
Visually light with a pale, creamy yellow pour, this one hits with a dank, tropical aroma full of pine, underripe apricot, melon, and woody resin. A crisp, medium body give a nicely rounded feel with a punch of bitterness, finishing tropical flavours and light bark.
Tweak of the Thumb is the perfect bingo call for us to tie in a video game inspired beer. So we had to choose the most thumb heavy video game controller of all time, undoubtedly the Nintendo 64. Whilst Elusive's gaming era was based much more in the 1980’s, Bluntrock being made up of mostly millennials means most of our earliest experiences with video games would be in the 64-BIT era in the late 1990’s early 2000’s (Nintendo 64, Sega Saturn and PS1).
We’ve captured these textures in the label design as well as the “low poly” design of the character, and for those with a keen eye, the title font is inspired by Mario 64. This one was especially fun and nostalgic.
